As the pioneers of the childcare lunch program service, Plum Catering understands the complexities of meeting our children’s nutritional and dietary needs. Not only do we customize portions, we offer menu substitutions to accommodate toddlers, special needs, medical restrictions and allergies, as well as school preferences. Our menu variations include Vegetarian, Beef Restricted, Cold Lunch, and Bag Lunch. All of our menus are IDHS and CDHS approved and we are licensed and inspected by the City of Chicago Health Department.

In addition, we require our delivery drivers to verify and record proper food temperatures on arrival. From sanitation to temperature control we are dedicated to our children’s health and safety.

We’re user friendly too! We provide a daily receipt with menu component information detailing quantities ordered, portioning by volume, and total weights. We also include written confirmation of count and order changes that have been phoned or faxed to our attention.
